TUITION FEES
The board and Pastors shall set tuition for all grades annually. No student or family will be excluded from WACS due to an inability to pay tuition. Families having two or more children in attendance in Grades K-6 are eligible for a family reduction.
2 children 10% reduction
3 children 20% reduction
4 or more children 30% reduction

WACS Board Policy
The tuition scale for the Winona Area Catholic Schools for 2011-2012:
EduCare $3.25/hr. (ages 3 & up) or $139.00/week Full-time
EduCare $3.55/hr. (Toddler) or $147.00/week Full-time
Drop In Care $3.25/hr.
Three day preschool $1,265.00
Five day preschool $1,845.00
Kindergarten - Grade 6 $2,580.00

TUITION SURCHARGE
There is no surcharge for students from WACS parishes. WACS parishes include Cathedral, St. Casimir, St. John's, St. Mary's, and St. Stanislaus. Students from outlying Catholic parishes will be surcharged at rates approved by the Board.

If a student's family does not belong to a Catholic parish in Winona County, MN or Trempealeau/Buffalo Counties, WI a surcharge of $500.00 per family will be assessed. The Administrator does have the right to waive the fee.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
The Winona Area Catholic Schools' Board has made money available for tuition assistance for those who are committed to Catholic schools, but who are unable to pay tuition in part or completely. Those unable to pay the full tuition, as established by the WACS board, are asked to apply for tuition assistance. Forms are available in the WACS Business Office or on-line.

TUITION PAYMENT PLAN
Full tuition payment for each family/student is to make according to the chosen options of the following agreement for each year. Tuition payment is to be made in full each year:
1. Totally before each school year begins
2. Semi-annually in August and in February each year
3. Quarterly in August, November, January, and March each year
4. Monthly
5. By application for tuition assistance and a mutually agreed upon plan for tuition payment for each year

DELINQUENT ACCOUNT POLICY
Delinquent accounts are subject to the following procedures and are determined based on the 15th of each month:
1. Accounts 30 days delinquent will be mailed a reminder notice from the WACS chief administrator (1st Letter)
2. Accounts 60 days delinquent will be contacted by the WACS business manager by letter to discuss resolution of payment (2nd Letter) Page 20 August 2011 WACS Student/Parent Handbook
3. Failure to reach a satisfactory agreement or plan to resolve the account or failure to make the agreed upon payments may result in non-attendance in the WACS system following the end of the current school year
4. All tuition accounts should be paid in full by June 30th in order to complete registration for the following school year
5. Past due tuition accounts may be turned over for collection at the discretion of the administration
