About Nerinx Hall High School

TUITION
Tuition for the 2012-2013 school year is $11,300. The Board of Directors sets the amount of tuition annually and we announce it to our families in February of each year.

At Nerinx, parents may select one of the following tuition payment plans:

Yearly total payment due by August 1

Semester two equal payments due by August 1 and January 5

Quarterly four equal payments due by August 1, October 1, January 5, March 1.

Monthly automatic withdrawal on the 1st or 15th of each month, over 10 months

Parents who make annual or semester payments promptly are entitled to a $50 discount per year.

We have a yearly registration fee of $435 per student (including $400 prepaid tuition that is deducted from the first tuition payment in August), an annual instructional fee, and an annual fee of approximately $700 for the student's laptop computer. Families also pay for uniforms and books.

FINANCIAL AID
INCOMING FRESHMEN
Because Nerinx believes that diversity within our community is enriching, we are pleased to offer a variety of scholarship opportunities for students. Our scholarships range in amount from $200 to $5,000 and are need based. Parents of incoming freshmen who want to apply for scholarships will begin the process after acceptance letters have been received in early February. They must complete a parents' confidential financial statement and submit it to FACTS financial aid service by April 15.

Nerinx Hall also offers families a student worker program. Acceptance into the program, based on need, requires the family to file a parents' confidential financial statement with FACTS (described above). Students who receive these grants work for specified periods of time to earn the tuition aid. They are credited with approximately $8.50 per hour for this work, allowing them to earn $800 to $1,000 in tuition assistance.

For incoming freshman families who would like direction for applying for financial aid. Please note that this is a three-part process - you must file with FACTS no later than April 15th; download, print, and fill out the Scholarship Application and return it to the Bookstore no later than April 15th; and you must submit your 2012 tax return to FACTS for verification no later than May 15, 2012. All three of these steps must be completed in order to be eligible for financial aid. Please contact our Business Manager, Margie Harper, at mharper@nerinxhs.org if you have any questions.

RETURNING STUDENTS
2013-2014 Financial Aid Application Process Opens November 1
If you are planning to apply for financial aid for the next school year, please make sure you go online at factstuitionaid.com no later than January 15, using an estimated 2012 income for your household. We realize that you will not have your 2012 tax return completed for several months yet, but we are looking for a best estimate of adjusted gross income. Any financial aid award would be contingent upon getting your 2012 tax return verified by FACTS, and being within a reasonable range of your estimate.

Please note that this is a three-part process - you must file with FACTS no later than January 15; download, print, and fill out the Scholarship Application and return it to the Bookstore no later than January 15; and you must submit your 2012 tax return to FACTS for verification no later than May 15, 2013. All three of these steps must be completed in order to be eligible for financial aid. Please contact our Business Manager, Margie Harper, at mharper@nerinxhs.org if you have any questions.
