About Holy Rosary Elementary School

- At Holy Rosary School we strive to excel in the education of each student in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade in a loving, Catholic, Christian environment.

- Faithfully Dedicated to Excellence!

- In September of this year we will be celebrating our 60th year as a school!

- Enrollment: this school year we are 88 students strong with a student to teacher ratio of 9 to 1.

- Our enrollment is already up for next year.

- We have made a commitment to keeping our tuition affordable (less than $250 per month),

- Financial aid: scholarships available for students who are not in Catholic schools now. Up to $2000 available and renewable each year. For more information on the ALIVE IN CHIRST program go to www. archstl.org/ttefa.

- Catholic Tradition: Catholic schools send twice as many students to four-year colleges. Students who graduated in 1957 from Catholic schools earned 18 percent higher wages in their mid-30s and mid-50s than their peers in public high schools. (www.miller-mccune.com)

- Dedicated and experienced faculty all certified by the State of Missouri

- Academic Excellence: our most recent national test scores have us in the top 25% of all schools in the country.

- We have an open enrollment and we welcome all religious faiths.

- We have brand new Internet savvy computers in each classroom, with a modern computer lab fitted with Smartboard technology.

- Our challenging curriculum, which is updated yearly, is supplemented with Spanish, Art, and PE classes, students playing recorders, pianos and guitars in our music classes, and a safe and fun before and after school care program.

- We are very excited about the future of our school and our parish. We are looking at curriculums centered on outdoor education, a community garden and students writing and recording original music.

- Starting in the Fall of 2012 grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 will be multiage. œEducational research indicates that students benefit both academically and emotionally from being placed in multiage classrooms. (Go to Multiage-Education.Com for information.) We are very excited about the benefits our students will experience due to our journey into multiage classrooms.
