Parent Participation
Carden Arbor View School strongly believes that parents and family can make a significant positive impact upon the school and its students. Parent involvement in the school reinforces to the child that school is crucial to their development. Moreover, parent participation can create and foster bonds between the parent and child that strengthen the family unit and aid in the development of healthy, happy children.

Carden Arbor View School has designed a parent participation program to provide students with positive modeling in leadership, dedication, and involvement. To facilitate parent participation, each family (not parent) is required to volunteer 30 hours of service in school activities during the school year. In most instances families volunteer 10 hours in each of the three school trimesters.

We understand that volunteering 30 hours may not be possible for some families or parents. Therefore, parent participation may be waived by paying an additional $450 annually or $15.00 for every hour not served during the school year.

Child Care
For the convenience of our students\' families, Carden Arbor View School provides day care before and after school.

Child care is available to all Carden Arbor View students before school beginning at 6:45 a.m. and extending to 6:00 p.m. after school for a pre-paid fee of $175 per month.

When the families of 5 or more students express a need, child care is usually available on in-service days and vacation days on an hourly basis.

Summer School
A complete summer school and summer camp program serves the local community from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the summer months.
