FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Do you have to be Catholic to attend Holy Trinity? No. Roughly 25 percent of our students are non-Catholic. Our doors are open to anyone who shares a desire for a challenging academic curriculum in a Christian environment.

2. What if my family cannot afford tuition? Holy Trinity strives to make its education affordable to anyone who is willing to be part of our learning community. If your family cannot afford tuition, please contact the school and apply for financial assistance. If you are right for Holy Trinity, we will do everything we can to enable you to afford our education.

3. Can I earn college credit while attending Holy Trinity? Yes! College credits can be earned in two ways. First, Holy Trinity offers Dual Credit classes in partnership with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, enabling seniors to attend classes on the UMHB campus. Second, Holy Trinity offers a wide selection of Advanced Placement classes, which can earn students college credit depending on their success on the AP exams. AP classes are offered in English, Social Studies, Spanish, Science, Math, and Technology.

4. Is Holy Trinity college-preparatory? Yes! Our expectation is that every student will continue his/her education after high school. Every class--including electives--is intended to be college-preparatory. We seek to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in college and beyond. Our alumni report back to us regularly that they are, indeed, prepared!

5. Am I smart enough for Holy Trinity? There\'s a trick to this one--do your homework! Holy Trinity is a college preparatory high school, and we expect all of our students to attend an institution of higher learning. However, while we send many of our graduates to some of the nation\'s finest universities--Notre Dame, Duke, University of Chicago, we also send many students to community colleges or technical schools. This doesn\'t mean Holy Trinity is for everyone! To succeed at HT, you must do your homework. If you do, there\'s no stopping you!

6. Do you have the same opportunities as some of the bigger schools? Actually, we offer you more opportunities. Because we are a small school, most of our students become involved in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and athletics. Athletic coaches and fine arts directors work together to ensure that students are able to participate in multiple activities. A typical female student may play in a volleyball game on Thursday, compete in speech or debate on Saturday, attend a Student Council meeting on Monday, lead a prayer service on Tuesday, and cheer in a football game on Friday. Not many large schools can offer you the same. Holy Trinity students can be as involved as they want to be! We believe in the value of a well-rounded student.

7. Do you have to be Catholic to work at Holy Trinity? There are some positions that are restricted to Catholics only--chaplain, principal, theology teachers. However, many positions are open to people of other faiths who share and believe in the mission of Holy Trinity.

8. Do you have uniforms? Yes. We contract with Parker Uniforms. Very simply, our young men wear khaki pants, a blue or white golf-type shirt (informal), a white Oxford shirt (formal), and a tie. Our young ladies wear a plaid skirt, blue or white golf-type shirt (informal), and a white Oxford blouse (formal).
