Sometimes referred to as an enrichment fee and paid to the MCC Enrichment Fund. This fund allows us to plan and organize our yearly events and give the children a little extra. Thanksgiving Lunch
Holiday Gifts for the children
Parent Evening Speakers

Holiday childcare is offered for many holidays during the school year. Childcare forms will be given out at the beginning of each year and spaces must be reserved and paid for in advance. For more details regarding holiday childcare, please see the Holiday Childcare handout.

Tuition and childcare fees are due by the 1st of each month. Payments made after that will be subject to a standard $25 late fee and $1 per day until the 10th of the month, after which time the Center will reserves the right to cancel enrollment. Pick-up after 6pm also has a late fee: $25 for the first 15 minutes (or portion thereof) and $25 for every subsequent 15 minutes, unless there is a family emergency.
Terms of Admission

Children are admitted for the full academic year (September - June) and tuition is not subject to adjustment because of absences, vacations, holidays, illness, etc.
Children are required to be in attendance from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. (full-day program) or 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (half-day program).
Montessori is a non-graded, self-achievement form of education which necessitates an uninterrupted, orderly presentation of the materials with consequent activity on the part of the child, at his own rate of understanding and performance. Outside pressures such as excessive TV, computer games, and late bedtime which interrupt this program will leave the child at a disadvantage in terms of understanding and level of achievement.
Transportation to and from the Center is the responsibility of the parents/guardians. The Center will not be responsible for any arrangements the parents/guardians make in regard to the transportation of the child, other than information.. The Center will release children only to authorized adults designated on the emergency/information forms.
The Montessori Children\'s Center reserves the right to accept or reject any application, and also to request the withdrawal of any child, if in the opinion of the Directress and the Administration, this action is to the benefit of the class as a whole.
The Center takes no responsibility for the loss of personal apparel, hats, footwear, lunchboxes, backpacks, etc. Parents are requested not to permit children to bring unnecessary hats, toys, playthings, jewelry, or junk food, candy, or gum to the Center. Nutritious snacks and organic milk will be provided.
The Montessori Children\'s Center reserves the right to make such rules and regulations in the operation of the Center as it deems appropriate for the health and safety of the children, and it is a condition of attendance that these rules and regulations be observed. The Center will adhere to and follow all regulations and licensing requirements of the State of California. The California Department of Social Services (Licensing Agency) may visit the premises at any time, with or without notice.
The safety and welfare of your child will, of course, be of the utmost importance to the Center, and we shall make every endeavor to take the greatest care of him or her. Nevertheless, the Center cannot assume responsibility for your child beyond that which would be expected of a reasonable parent.
Submission of the application form does not guarantee admission of your child. If your child is accepted, the deposit is non-refundable.
The Enrollment Deposit will be applied only to the June tuition of the child\'s final term at the Center unless the child meets Early Withdrawal conditions/status (see Fee Schedule for details).
Early withdrawal: If withdrawal is after February, there will be no application of the Enrollment Deposit for tuition fees.
All withdrawals require a 30-day written notice.
