About Jewish Community School Of The Desert

TUITION AND FINANCIAL AID
Each year parents enter into an enrollment contract with the Jewish Community School of the Desert and agree to pay the tuition and fees as established by the Board of Trustees.

The Tuition Schedule for the 2012-2013 school year is as follows:
Full-Day Kindergarten: $8,190 Per Year
Grades 1 - 5: $9,437 Per Year

Notes:
Multiple Child Tuition Discount of 5% per child following first child's full-rate tuition.
Technology and Activity Fees are included in tuition; overnight field trips incur additional costs.
A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required for application consideration.

LUNCH, EXTENDED CARE, AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
JCSD offers many additional optional services to families. Fees differ depending on the types of activity or service. These include daily hot kosher lunch, after school extended care and a broad variety of after school enrichment choices.

Extended care is offered daily before school beginning at 7:30 am and after school until 5:30 pm Monday - Thursday, and until 4:30 pm on Friday.

TUITION ASSISTANCE
It is the earnest desire of the Board of Trustees that no child whose parents are in agreement with the policy of the school, and who is well qualified for admission, should be denied the opportunity of enrollment solely because of inability to pay the full tuition fees. Consequently, the Board of Trustees has established the Tuition Aid program. Tuition Aid applications are available to all JCSD families. Families who believe they will be unable to afford a JCSD education for their child are encouraged to apply for Tuition Aid. This process is confidential.
