Tuition and Fees for the 2012-2013 School Year

To Receive the Contributing Rate a Parishioner Must:
· be registered with Little Flower Parish and must tithe $500.00 by December 1 of the previous year. This must be documented by using the assigned collection envelopes.
o Little Flower parishioners must submit a completed Tuition Subsidy Request form.
· be registered with another parish and submit a completed Tuition Subsidy Request form.
o The contributing rate may be received if your parish is willing to pay a $750.00 per child subsidy to Little Flower Catholic School and must be documented with a signature on the letter provided.
o If the pastor does not agree to pay the subsidy (i.e. you do not meet the local parishes criteria for a contributing member) you will be assessed at the higher Non-contributing Rate.

Contributing Rate - Annual
1 Child: $2,300.00
2 Children: $3,400.00
3 Children: $3,950.00

Non-Contributing Rate - Annual
1 Child: $3,600.00
2 Children: $6,660.00
3 Children: $10,000.00

· Tuition is paid over ten months
· The first payment due in August and the final payment due May 1.
· Each family will receive a payment booklet.
· Tuition is delinquent after the tenth day of the month.
· Other deadlines can be found in the handbook.

School Fees (In addition to tuition, fees must be paid for each family/child)
Registration: Per Family $100.00 Due with Registration Form
Book Rental: Per Student $150.00 Due Before Books will be issued
Building Assessment: Per Family $100.00 Due June 1
Testing/Handbook: Per Family $ 35.00 Due Before School Begins
Technology: Per Student $ 50.00 Due Before School Begins
T-Shirt Fee: Per Student $ 7.00 Due Before School Begins (T-shirts will not be ordered until paid)
Pupil Tax: Per Student $ 35.00 Before School Begins
TOTAL Fees
For 1= $477.00
For 2= $719.00
For 3= $961.00

POLICY ON DELINQUENT PAYMENTS
· Tuition payments are due on the first (1st) of each month and are delinquent after the tenth (10th) of the month.
· If an account is 10 days past due, a reminder notice will be sent and late charges of $10.00 will be added.
· If the account is 20 days past due, the child/children may not return to school until the tuition and late fees are paid.

FINANCIAL AID
· Financial aid is available only to contributing members of Little Flower Parish.
· Parishioners applying for financial aid must be tithing parishioners for one year before being eligible for aid.
· Financial aid must be requested at registration time for former students.
· This aid is only applicable to students in grades Kindergarten - Eighth grade. There is no aid for Pre School.
· This Little Flower Catholic School Tuition Committee will then meet to determine the amount of aid. A letter stating the determination of the committee will be sent.
· There is a budgeted amount available for this aid. It will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
