About Mercy High School - Middletown

Mercy High School is a Catholic, secondary school of the Diocese of Norwich. The following tuition rates apply for school year 2013 - 2014:

Catholics registered within the Norwich Diocese: $11,700.
Catholics registered in a Parish of the Hartford Archdiocese: $11,900.
Non-Catholics and Non-registered Catholics: $12,200.

There are additional costs for application, registration, books, uniforms, testing services and some courses and activities.

Sibling Discounts
Tuition deductions are available for families with other children attending Mercy or Xavier High School within the same academic school year. Deductions are applied to the younger children.

Oldest Child: Full Tuition
2nd Child: Deduct $400
3rd Child: Deduct $800
4th Child: Free

Scholarships and Financial Aid
Academic Scholarships are awarded to approximately twelve incoming freshwomen who achieve the highest scores on the Entrance Exams offered at Mercy in November or December (make-up exam scheduled by appointment only.) Scholarship award recipients are notified in early January.

Additional Scholarships and financial aid are available based on need. Families applying for financial aid can apply online in January. The deadline for financial aid applications is March 1, 2013.
