About St. Gertrude School

Pre-registration is held each March. Precise dates will be posted in the church bulletin and on the website in February. A registration fee is required when pre-registration paperwork is submitted. Space is limited in each class and pre-registration is the best way to ensure that your child is enrolled.
Current registration fees: $100 first child; $90 second child; $80 third child; etc.
Registration is held in the summer. At registration, parents fill out required paperwork and receive a handbook, school supply list and other documents. Parents are required to bring immunization records for any student that has received any shots in the previous years.
The following documents are required for new students:
Birth certificate
Social security card
Immunization records
Baptismal certificate (if applicable)

Payments are made over a 10- or 11-month period and are due by the 15th of the month or a late fee of $25 will be charged. Tuition fees do not entirely cover the cost of educating each child. Parent participation hours and fundraising (Fall fundraiser, Festival raffle, Festival barbecue) is mandatory for parents. Fundraising or parent participation hours ($10/hour) not completed by May 1, 2010 will be added to final tuition invoice. According to Diocesan Policy, student's report cards, transfer of records, etc. will be held until payment is made or the situation is resolved. Tuition accounts that are delinquent by two payments or more will be reported to the Advisory Council for action. Consistent failure to meet financial obligations may result in termination of enrollment.
