Admission Procedures & Requirements
Thank you for considering the Killeen Adventist Junior Academy for the education of your child. Please take time to review the registration procedure described below.

Fill out the student application completely. All information must be provided before your child will be considered for enrollment.
Submit the application form and the signed Terms and Condition, Tuition Policy, and Student Release of Liability form. A $300 registration fee is required to be paid through FACTS prior to school beginning along with the first month tuition.
Please submit a copy of your child's most recent report card and other achievement test scores, if applicable, as well as a copy of his/her birth certificate and immunization records.
Please forward 3 Letters of Recommendation from Pastor, Teacher, or Counselor to the administrative assistant.
Upon return of the application, report card and test scores, letters of recommendation, an appointment with the Administration will be scheduled for an interview. Bother parents and students should be present at the interview.
After all aspects of the application procedure have been completed, usually immediately following your family's interview, you will be notified of your acceptance.
Once you have been accepted, you will receive another packet of information with the uniform policy and calendar information. A school supply list is available on this website.

Financial Information
We believe that tuition payments are an investment in your child's education and religious formation. Therefore, Killeen Adventist Junior Academy School Board and Financial Committee has the responsibility for adopting certain policies concerning the amount of tuition, the manner of payment, and in general, the development of policy in this area of concern. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the School Board to ensure that adequate financial resources are available for the school, and that enrollment is as available and affordable as much as possible to all families.

Student Financial Assistance
It is the Killeen Adventist Junior Academy's desire to give all qualified students the opportunity to attend the academy and not be turned away because of economic factors. The school has established a tuition assistance program called the Student Financial Assistance to help families in need. Tuition assistance is awarded strictly on basis of need in a completely confidential process. FACTS processes the applications and information received. It is the responsibility of the applicant to submit all requested information to FACTS. Based on multiple factors, FACTS determines financial assistance eligibility. KAJA will make final financial aid determinations. Financial aid assistance is made based on funds available.

Tuition assistance determination is available through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Families are to apply online by June 1st. Limited Tuition Assistance may be available for qualified students through the KAJA Student Financial Assistance program. PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE KILLEEN SDA CHURCH. PRIORITY IS ALSO GIVEN TO STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 1 AND ABOVE.
