About Pine Crest School

Q - How do we apply for Financial Aid?
A - Please refer to the FINANCIAL AID SECTION of our website
http://www.pinecrest.edu/podium/default.aspx?t=107092

Q - How much financial aid will our child get?
A - Each family's need is different. The SSS office in Princeton, New Jersey calculates this for many schools and universities. The family (both parents) income, expenses, assets, and debts are taken into account. The aid amount is based on how much the family would need in order to afford the Pine Crest School tuition for each student. Some families need no help, some need a little, and some need assistance with a major portion of tuition and fees.

Q - When will we know if we will receive financial aid?
A - The admission process is separate from the financial aid process. You may hear about your child's admission earlier. Once all financial documents are received, you will receive a letter advising if you qualified for financial assistance, and if so, the amount being awarded to help your family. All financial aid awards are confidential. Other families and faculty members do not know who receives financial aid.

Q - What expenses will I have beyond tuition?
A - Families are responsible for school uniforms. If the child needs a laptop computer, or school transportation, it should be reported when financial aid is requested. Extended Day, tutoring if needed, and some class trips may incur additional costs. Financial aid may assist with some of these expenses, if necessary. It is important to discuss these matters openly with an Admission Office staff member and must be added to the PFS form.

Q - Is there a tuition discount for multiple children who attend Pine Crest?
A - Pine Crest does not offer a tuition discount for multiple children.
