Tuition Assistance
In this day of economic uncertainty and rising costs, it can be difficult to imagine factoring an Elmwood Franklin tuition into the family budget. But often, with financial assistance and planning, an EFS education can become a reality. No student should fail to apply to Elmwood Franklin solely because of financial considerations. While no student receives full tuition assistance, EFS remains committed to providing financial help to families of qualified students who otherwise could not attend our school. In fact, more than 30 percent of our current families receive financial aid.

For more information about this program, please contact the Admissions Office at 877-5035 or admissions@elmwoodfranklin.org for a Tuition Assistance Packet.

You may begin to apply for financial aid starting on November 1, as described below. To be eligible for consideration for financial aid at Elmwood Franklin School, you must complete your application by the end of February. We will communicate decisions about financial aid at the end of March when we send out our acceptance contracts.

We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions. To begin your financial aid application follow the steps below:.

Starting on November 1, go to http://sss.nais.org.
Click on the prompt to begin your Parents' Financial Statement (PFS). Our school code is 2980. You only have to complete one PFS even if you have several children applying to our school.
You will be given a password that will allow you to return to your PFS at a later date before submitting it.
You will be given instructions about submitting required backup documents by mail. You must mail a copy of your Federal Income Tax Form (1040) and a copy of your W2 forms to SSS. Your documents will be handled with the utmost level of security. To read more about SSS's document security, go to sss.nais.org.
Mail the required documents to: SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, P.O. Box 449, Randolph, MA 02368-0449. (For overnight mail, use this address: SSS by NAIS, Application Processing Center, 437 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021.) Call (800) 344-8328 with any questions (Mon-Fri: 9am-8pm EST. Sat: 9am-4pm EST)
