About St. John School

Admission Requirements:
The following requirements must be met on the part of each parent whose child is admitted:

Each parent and child will be interviewed by the principal
Cooperation with the school in the religious formation of any baptized Catholic child through attendance at Sunday Mass.
Children must meet the age requirements set forth by the New York City Board of Education
Age 3 by December 31 for Pre School 3 year old program (9:00 to 11:00 AM)
Age 4 by December 31 for Pre School 4 year old program (Full-Day Program)
Age 5 by December 31 for Kindergarten (Full-Day Program)

Mandatory requirements of New York City and State Health Department must be fulfilled.
Children applying for Grades 1 - 8 must meet academic and behavioral criteria (passing grades).

2012-13 Tuition
Preschool thru Kindergarten
Catholic: $452 a month
Non Catholic: $495 a month

1st -8th Grade
Catholic: $433 a month
Non Catholic: $521 a month
