TUITION ASSISTANCE
St. Mary\'s Institute offers needs-based grants and scholarships to eligible students. If you wish to request tuition assistance, a FACTS Grant & Aid Application must be completed. You may apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com. Paper applications are available in the school office.

Please be sensitive to deadlines for tuition assistance. Paper application must be postmarked by March 25. Online applications are processed immediately and may be filed on or before April 15. Applying online is the fastest and most direct method of submitting your application.

Be advised supporting documentation must accompany your FACTS application. Your application will remain at a \"submitted\" status until these documents are received. Supporting documents may include a federal 1040 income tax return or W-2 wage and tax statement. Once all supporting information is received, your application status will be changed to \"verified\". Please note only verified applications will be considered for an award.

BEACON OF HOPE
The Beacon of Hope Scholarship is a needs-based program open to all students in grades 1-12 who are currently enrolled in a Catholic School in the Diocese of Albany. The award is $ 1,500 per year for three years. Applicants must complete the Beacon of Hope application, in addition to the FACTS Grant & Aid by April 15. Awards for the Beacon of Hope Scholarship are determined by a selection committee of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany.
