For most families, investing in an independent school education requires careful financial planning and consideration. The 2011-2012 financial aid budget of $4.6 million reflects Worcester Academy\'s commitment to supporting students from a broad range of economic situations. Worcester Academy offers financial aid to students with demonstrated need. In fact, 38% of the student body received financial aid in 2011. You may find that you qualify for a financial award, which may be supplemented with loans or a combination of payment plans. Since each family is unique, families applying for aid are encouraged to review our financial aid information and schedule a conversation with our Director of Financial Aid.

Tuition does not meet the actual cost of educating a Worcester Academy student. The difference is made up by the Academy\'s endowment funds and gifts.

Payment Schedules
You may arrange to pay tuition with a ten or nine-month installment plan offered thru FACTS Tuition Pay Plan; tuition can also be paid in full at one time, or in two installments with a first payment of 75 percent of the balance due August 1st followed by a second payment of 25 percent December 15th. Specific information on the several payment plans is available from the Admission Office.
