About Chop Point School

Chop Point firmly believes it is offering an education superior to the public schools. It is accomplishing this task on a budget much smaller than that of the public schools because of the sacrificial attitudes of the teachers. Before enrolling a child in Chop Point School, parents should give serious consideration to their ability to afford private education. There is no scholarship aid available at this time. Additional Financial Information
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $100 must accompany each application.
There is a 5% reduction if the full fee is paid on or before September 1st.
The tuition for any additional younger children from the same family is reduced by: $500/second child, and $1000/third and additional child(ren).
The high school fee schedule is based on the assumption that each student will be involved in a Saturday workday in May. If a student is not able to attend, $100 will be added to his/her tuition fee.
The fees charged will not meet all the financial needs of the school program. It is hoped that school families and their friends will consider giving tax-deductible gifts are they are able.
By August 1st, $500 must be paid per child. The remaining portion of the fee may be paid on a monthly basis for the nine months of the school year. No child will attend classes if the bill is more than 45 days past due. Grades will not be given nor transcripts released until obligations are fully met.
Activity fees cover two ski trips (for those in grades 3-12), field trips, a yearbook and school insurance for all students. For grades 9-12 the activity fee includes $500 for trips to Nicaragua during grades 11 and 12. Students will also be required to do some fundraising to support their trips.
