About Windham Christian Academy

TUITION AND FEES PAYMENT
A. Tuition:
Windham Christian Academy is supported by the shared sacrifice of its families, school staff, and Windham Assembly of
God Ministries. Our staff works for salaries at a considerably lower scale than their public school counterparts. Parents
support the school through their tuition, gifts, and volunteerism. The Finance Committee of Windham Assembly of God
Ministries establishes each year, tuition and fees. Tuition and fees are to be paid either in one payment at a 5% discount or
in 10 monthly payments due the first of each month beginning August 1st. It is very important that families take seriously
the need to pay fees and tuition on time in order that the school pay its operating expenses and meet salary obligations in a
cost effective and timely manner. Tuition, which is payable to Windham Christian Academy, is not tax-deductible
(although gifts are). Our tuition and fees schedule will give more information about all fees and scholarships available.
There is a $15 fee for returned checks. This fee and the amount of the returned check must be paid back in cash. WCA
reserves the right to ask for future payments in cash.

B. Arrears:
Tuition payments received after the 10th of the month will be assessed a late fee of $25.00. The schedule for contacting
delinquencies is as follows:
1. Reminder letter on the 15th.
2. Phone call on the 20th.
3. Notification from Bookkeeper of appointment with the Arrears Committee on the 25th.
If any account becomes more than one month past due, the child may be sent home from school until the balance is paid.
Falling more than three months behind in tuition payments without an approved plan from the Arrears Committee will
result in the student(s) permanent withdrawal from WCA until the balance is paid. It is the parent's responsibility to be in
communication with the school if their bill becomes past due.
C. Tuition Aid Program:
The purpose of the Tuition Aid Program is to assist parents of students attending Windham Christian Academy with a part
of their school tuition. This program will allow some students whose families may not be able to afford full tuition an
opportunity for a Christian school education. Call the school office for more information.
D. Re-registration
Re-registration forms will be sent out in the spring of each year. Each family is asked to prayerfully consider their
decision to re-register their children for the following year, and return the form with the non-refundable re-registration fee.
A late fee will be incurred if the deadline is missed.
WITHDRAWAL / REFUNDABLE FEES
Should a family decide to withdraw their child before the end of the school year, a two-week notice is required for tuition
monies, etc, to be refunded. If less than a two-week notice of withdrawal is given, then the school retains the right to not
refund any monies it has received. The following procedures are expected to be followed prior to the withdrawal of a
student:
1. An exit interview with the Principal.
2. All monies owed be paid up to date at the time of withdrawal: registration, curriculum fees, tuition, and other
fees.
EARLY PAYMENT WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Full payment of tuition on or before August 1st will be discounted at the rate of 5%. Families who have paid tuition in full
and withdraw their student before December 31st are eligible for a prorated refund. The 5% early discount will be
withheld. After December 31st, no refund will be offered.
If a child is expelled, no refund of tuition or fees will be granted.
FUND RAISERS
Because tuition does not cover the full cost of educating our students, we take on major fund raising projects each year.
Families are expected to participate in fund raising events throughout the year.

Please contact the school directly for tuition prices!
