Day Student Fees
The fees and tuition below are for the 2012-13 school year.

New Student Application Fee: This fee is charged for each new student upon application for admission. Please click on Admissions for information on applying to Monte Vista Christian School.

$60 (online) $80 (paper)

Annual Enrollment Fee: This fee is charged for each student every year at Monte Vista Christian School and must be submitted with the enrollment agreement to secure placement in 2012-2013.

Returning Day Students:
$400 (before Feb. 17, 2012)
$500 (after Feb. 18, 2012)
$600 (after May 4, 2012)

New Day Students:

Day Student Tuition
Tuition at Monte Vista Christian School includes a yearbook and class fees, excluding horsemanship and MarchTerm.

Payment Options:
1. Tuition paid in full by July 1 will receive a $300 early pay discount.
2. Monthly payment plans are available through FACTS Tuition Management. FACTS options are using your savings account, checking account, or credit card (payments using your credit card adds a 2.5% fee).

2012-13 Domestic Resident Student Tuition: $36,750
(including $3,000 enrollment fee*)

Resident tuition at Monte Vista Christian School includes room and board, writing center, academic advising, college application assistance, weekend trips and activities, vacation airport shuttle, transportation to SAT/ACT exams (selected sites/test dates only), use of and iPad (insurance not included), a yearbook, one set of P.E. clothing, athletic team fees, technology fees, and all class fees, excluding horsemanship, MarchTerm, special classroom activities and field trips, and library fines. During non-meal times, items from the cafe will need to be purchased. Sibling discounts are available.

Insurance: Parents of all students must provide hospital, medical, and dental insurance coverage for their students. Local doctors will be instructed to send bills for routine medical and dental care directly to the student's parents, who will be responsible for payments, insurance reimbursement claims, etc. Doctors and hospitals will not accept insurance from companies based outside of the U.S. Please obtain insurance from a U.S. based company. You must provide the school with a copy of your insurance card and claim form.

English as a Second Language (ESL) Program: ESL is required for students whose TOEFL score is between 440 and 500. The cost for ESL is $4,050 for the school year.

Transitional English is required for students whose TOEFL score is between 500 and 550. The cost of this program is $1,350 for the school year.

Payment plans: Payment plans for one, two, or three payments per year are available.

During non-meal times, items from the cafe will need to be purchased. Sibling discounts are available.

I-20
If a visa is denied, all but $400 will be refunded upon Monte Vista's receipt of the original denial letter from the U.S. Embassy stating the reason for denial, and the return of the original I-20. There is a $100 replacement cost for a lost I-20.

Insurance: Monte Vista Christian School provides medical insurance including accident/medical expenses, and medical evacuation, for all students attending Monte Vista on an F-1 student visa. All other students are required to provide medical insurance at their own expense, and provide proof of insurance upon arrival.
