About Tower School

Tuition
The cost of educating a child at Tower is substantial, but we are committed to providing a program of the highest quality. We also seek to attract, support, and retain a strong faculty to serve as teachers, mentors, and role models for our students.

The 2012-2013 tuition at Tower is $19,000 for full-day pre-kindergarten, $23,100 for kindergarten through grade 5, and $26,100 for grades 6-8.

Tuition covers all supplies, books, curriculum materials, trips, and snack.

Tuition payments may be made three ways.
Plan 1: Payment in full
Plan 2: Four quarterly payments due May 31, August 31, November 30, and February 28
Plan 3: Ten monthly payments beginning in May

Financial Aid
The cost of tuition is a tremendous factor to consider when thinking about independent schools. Financial aid is designed to help bridge the gap between what families can afford to pay for tuition and the actual tuition. Many families can make independent school a reality by receiving financial aid to cover a small or large portion of the tuition. Our financial aid grants range from a few thousand dollars to ninety percent of the cost of tuition. The financial aid process is designed to allow each family to contribute to the cost of their child's education based on their ability to pay. No family should hesitate to apply for admission because they feel that they cannot afford Tower School.

Approximately 30% of the students at Tower receive financial aid in a given year. For the 2012-2013 school year, Tower provided nearly 1.4 million dollars in tuition assistance to the families of 90 students. The average financial aid grant is approx $13,000. Admission decisions are made separately from financial aid decisions.
